I am privileged to be the “voice” that welcomes you to Petra Academy's website. My family and I are scarcely in the door ourselves, so on the one hand, it feels a little odd to be welcoming fellow-newcomers, but on the other, as we are receiving that welcome ourselves, I know how genuine this community is when it says, “Welcome!”

I hope you will browse our website and that it might lead you to browse our campus. You will find in Petra Academy a school that is deeply committed to Christ-centered education and one that follows—with delight—the goals and pedagogy of the classical model.

You will see how serious we are about academic excellence. But I hope you will not interpret our commitment to academic rigor as stiff or drear. If you think that academic excellence must be accompanied by severity and boredom, think again! The journey is challenging, but there is great joy in the journey!
